Today in Science we continued on with our thinking and experimentation with our wind socks. We thought about which material worked the best and decided to modify our current wind socks to make them more effective at detecting and indicating how strong the wind is. We decided that lighter materials worked better as they could fall when there was not wind but went out straight at a strong breeze. With this thought in mind we found some string in the craft cupboard and decided to use this (along with anything else the students wanted to use) to improve our current wind socks. Then we moved down to the valley to test the new and improved wind socks.
