THRASS Rap

Today we had a competition in class to see how far we could get in completing the THRASS rap. the THRASS rap is a great way to learn the 44 phonemes as we say the words that are associated with each sound (bird for b, rabbit for bb, water for w, etc). Mr. Donaldson said that for every row of the THRASS chart we could say in the rap we(the group) would get to place a marble into our jar which was a great incentive. With that goal in mind each group went to different parts of the classroom to practice before coming together to perform what they had learned.
