Creating Characters

During class lately, we have been talking about adjectives. We have looked at what the word means and some examples of adjectives both in books we are reading and objects that we see around us. this afternoon the students were tasked with creating their own character in their English book and then to write adjectives around their character which would describe what they had created. We discussed how adjectives don't just have to be what you can see but also what the character is like on the inside.

As adjectives were thought of Mr. Donaldson would write them onto the board to see how many different adjectives we could think of as we were doing our work. This was also a way to help us write the words if we were unsure of how to spell it correctly. Below are the fruits of our labour...
