The students were encouraged to show their patterns to their peers around them, as well as show them to me as I came around. We had some fantastic patterns that were made with some students making patterns that we hadn't even talked about. It was lovely to see the students stretching themselves.

Making Patterns
During Maths today the students were split into three groups to practice making patterns. The first group made patterns using peg boards and colourful pegs, the second group made patterns using connectable coloured blocks, and the third group made patterns using coloured shapes.
The students were encouraged to show their patterns to their peers around them, as well as show them to me as I came around. We had some fantastic patterns that were made with some students making patterns that we hadn't even talked about. It was lovely to see the students stretching themselves.
